Why is it so difficult for you to stay true to your word?

Weak men communicate weakly. Their communication is soft and non-committal. They text first, then email, and use face-to-face or a phone call as a last resort. They make phone calls but leave no messages. They say “maybe” instead of “no.”  They say, “I’ll try” knowing they will not. They say “Yes” knowing they will never follow through because they are too cowardly to say what they mean, when what they mean is, “No.” We used to live in a world where a man’s word and a handshake meant something. Now we need contracts and lawsuits to get weak males to follow through. The man of God is different. The man of God is a man of his word—or he should be. It is time to go old school. It is time to return to the words and example of Jesus who said what he meant, meant what he said, and did what he said he would do.
